March Secret Pal Goodies

Well, my secret pal has done it again... this month she chose Ladybugs as her theme. I love all the cool stuff you can find with ladybugs on them. This little story book was so cute and I know I will enjoy reading it to Maddy one day. My husband loved the ladybug yo-yo and thought the blankie was extra nice. the shoes/slippers are way to cool too. We love it all and I love getting my package each and every month. Helps to pass away the months. Thank you again Secret Pal.. you are just AWESOME!

Nine

Nine months down and ??months to go. I'm so glad spring is here. My days are getting busier with lots of things to do and I'm actually starting to focus more on the upcoming birth of my grandson. I know once he gets here and grandma (me) starts watching him during the day, the months will go by much quicker until we have our little Maddy here as well. I'm even thinking that it's possible that Maddy will be born around the same time as Christian and they will be great pals growing up. Funny though that Christian's "Aunt Maddy" will be the same age or just a tad older/younger than he is. :-)

On another note, if any of you want to go to the movies and have a really good laugh, go see Wild this. . .

This movie is down right hilarious! My dh and I , as well as the group of folks we went to see this with, laughed the entire movie. My cheeks actually hurt. And honestly, I really needed a good laugh!

This Little Piggy...

Surprise, Surprise. . . I received a special little piggy in the mail today. I was so excited when I saw this and my dh was like "what's so special about it?". I told him that I've been seeing this little pig show up on blog sites all over the place and to get one made me feel extra special. (not to mention that this IS the year of the pig) Thank you friend (I'm pretty sure I know who you are) for thinking of me too. You totally made my day !!!

New Wheels

Well, the dh can no longer say he doesn't have a vehicle equipped for a child. We just traded in his little 2Dr sports car for this new truck. It has a crew cab so there is plenty of room for a car seat in the back. He got the one pictured above, color and all. It's a very dark gray. I personally liked the lighter gray but they didn't have any in stock. This was it and he got to have it right off the show room floor. He is one happy camper now. Apparently he always had a truck before I met him and in the last 8 years we've been married, he has only driven little sports cars. He says he is happy to have a truck again. He has missed the hauling capabilities. :-) (insert male grunting here)
